Rob & Geoff

What started as an idea between friends soon evolved into a partnership founded on creating a casual and inviting atmosphere for guests from all over the world. Inspired by their travels and experience in hospitality, Rob and Geoff opened Fig Hvar in 2015 and followed shortly thereafter with Fig Starigrad in 2017. The beauty of Croatia, the quality of fresh and local ingredients and the opportunity to share delicious food with a unique and creative approach allowed them to open their latest restaurant, Fig Split in the spring of 2019.

Rob’s Australian background and Croatian heritage are found in his personality and cocktails. Raised in Melbourne, Rob has traveled the world and strives to create a fun and welcoming environment through customer service and hospitality.

Geoff is a native of California and brings his culinary creativity to Fig through inspired menus that reflect his experience as a world class chef and seasoned traveler. Replicating exotic flavors, or perfecting familiar recipes, his food gives you the feeling that you’re right at home in the middle of the Adriatic.

Together, their focus has always been to create a new and vibrant dining experience with a travel inspired food mantra - something a little different.
